Projects Featuring R2
Northend, Bath, Housing Development
A mid range housing development with 3-4 cloakrooms/bathrooms per plot. A bespoke double basin unit was used for the master en-suites due to certain size requirements. The fitted funiture was a cost effective way of hiding pipework and giving practical storage space. LED light ribbons were added to the furniture plinths for a stunning aesthetic. The furniture worktops were a solid surface material that is waterproof and robust whilst the made to order sizes reduced installation time as no cutting was required.
Miller Walk, Bath
Two separate basins can also work well instead of a large double basin as shown in this project with a large shower tray to replace the bath and make the spacious walk in shower.
Commercial Toilets, Easton, Bristol
This commercial Project in a Office rental business consisted of a Ladies and Gents toilets and a Disabled Shower Room. The Toilet cubicles, Vanity units and Urinal panels were all made to measure for easy installation. These all have easy access removable panels for maintenance. There are many colours to choose from for these products and are designed for easy cleaning and to be robust whilst also user friendly.
Hulbert Close, Corsham
This bathroom was converted into a practical and magnificent wetroom for a customer with mobility issues. The previous layout only had a bath tub which could not be used by the customer.
It was converted into a easy access wetroom with level floor which involved chasing the shower tray former and waste into the concrete floor.
The toilet cistern and the basin frame/waste pipes were all hidden in a false wall which resulted in a easy to clean room with sleek and minimal appearance.
A recessed illuminated mirror cabinet gave extra storage whilst not impeding on the room space.
Fold down grab rails were added either side of the toilet for support when transferring to the pan and the basin was wall hung to allow space for a wheelchair underneath.
A wonderful job installed by You Love Bathrooms
Sydney Road, Bath
The shower in this project was tricky as the toilet waste had to run within the space that the shower was going. This was overcome by boxing out with a false wall and this also created a very practical seat in the corner. This area was then tiled and the back walls of the shower seat was clad in wall panelling which turned out to be a quirky design feature.
The fitted furniture added some storage whilst also helping to hide the pipework. The mirror cabinet provided more storage and a neat solution for hiding a charger socket.
The back to wall bath fits perfectly in place and gives the illusion of a freestanding bath whilst joining to the back wall for a watertight seal and not taking up much room when you enter the room.
Oldland Common, Bristol
Some stylish bathrooms installed at this property by the talented team at Aquabathrooms. The space around this bath was boxed in to conceal the pipework which also allowed for the long recess storage box behind it. It also left space for a concealed valve and waterfall style overflow filler meaning no spout was required. A luxurious effect is to add some lights to the front of the bath panel to give some fabulous mood lighting.
In the smaller cloakroom they have also used some tiled boxing behind the wall hung toilet and basin with wall hung vanity furniture. This half height false wall is used to hide the toilet cistern and frame and also the pipework for the basin. There needs to be some reinforcement behind the wall mounted basin for support or you can also buy purpose built steel frames for this too. The glamorous lights have been added underneath the toilet and basin for practical low level lighting which also accentuates the fact the basin and toilet are wall hung, making the floor space seem larger.
Park Road, Keynsham
This contemporary shower room had a 1400mm long, ultra slim shower tray with one full length piece of glass giving a minimalist look.
Opposite are the wall hung double drawer vanity unit and resin worktop with matching matt, mineral, counter top basin that give useful storage and handy surfaces for all your daily toiletries. The illuminated mirror has a demister pad to stop steaming up after showering. The toilet is rimless which means it is hygienic and easy to clean. The hanging pendant light and vertical mosaic strip really make it a stand out feature wall which is a welcome sight when entering the room.
Inspired by one of our display bays in the showroom, this shower room has a beautiful corner shower which is the centerpiece of the room. Arriving in a kit format the wetroom tray and shower side walls are installed then the tiles of their choice are applied. The glass door is then fitted at the end and is all deigned to fit perfectly. The pentagon shaped shower is perfect for smaller rooms with the angled off corner allowing for easy movement to its adjacent basin and toilet. The side walls of the shower allow for some floor to ceiling LED lighting on the inner surface and the back walls have some delectable recess boxes which also have some small LED lights which are all bathroom waterproof rated. The gloss wall tiles help reflect the light making a dazzling room.
Installed by the talented team at Aquabathrooms.
Under Knoll, Peasdown St John
Fitted furniture has been used to great effect here as the cupboard under the basin creates storage and the worktop provides a very useful surface for resting toiletries. The basin and worktop are an integrated all in one piece made out of a waterproof, mineral resin. This means that it is very hygienic and easy to clean with no silicone to worry about. It can be cut and finished on site and so no long lead times. The furniture also helps to hide the unsightly pipework.
The shower bath also has a colour matching bath panel to help tie the whole theme together. The patterned floor tiles give the whole room a classic style with a hint of modern boutique.
Designed by the talented Ruth at Silverwood Design
Forester Road, Bath
The classic grey and white colour theme helps give this bathroom a clean and bright finish. The round shapes are carried through nearly all the products including the bath, basin and mirror giving a soft and gentle appearance.
The freestanding bath has the tall freestanding bath shower mixer in the corner making it more subtle whilst still allowing for the bath to be used from either end.
The curvy basin with floorstanding vanity unit gives maximum storage and the swan neck basin mixer has a adjustable spout to rotate out the way when washing your face.
Altogether a fabulous room well executed and the smaller cloakroom is a clean and practical design.
Our designer Eddie has utilised wall cupboards and a tall unit to maximise storage above the toilet and vanity furniture which helps to keep the bathroom looking organised and tidy.
To ensure that the shower is safe and accessible for the customer, they have used an anti-slip shower tray and stylish grab bar in the walk-in shower. To the same end a comfort height toilet has been used, the increased height making it easier for taller users and those with mobility issues.
