Ceiling Lights & Spotlights

This group of lights fix directly to the ceiling and are surface mounted usually only requiring just the electrical cable to come through. Also with ceiling lights in a bathroom make sure they are electrically rated to at least IP44 rated. They are more commonly found with energy saving LED lamps which should require replacing less frequently. You can sometimes pick between the temperature colours of warm (yellow tint colour), cool (blue tint colour) or daylight (natural colour). Some ceiling lights are sealed units with a shade on the bottom side that protrude from the ceiling. Spotlights are usually in a cluster and are mounted onto a plate and commonly can be tilted to adjust where the light falls. If they are a pendant than the light will have a wire hanging down.
