Master Ensuite, Winterbourne
This bathroom has undergone a drastic makeover. We’ve included the before photos which show you that although it was quite sizable it was also fairly dated and utilized some very traditional style fittings.
The design team quickly adjusted this to incorporate all the modern amenities required. A large freestanding bath has been put in against a boxed section which hides all of the plumbing for both the bath taps and the wall hung toilet, even incorporating some recessed storage spaces. The space available has allowed for a double basin sat on top of a pair of wall mounted units. The wall these are mounted to is actually another boxed out stud wall which allows for more concealed plumbing. The fitter has also left small recesses on both sides of this which feature some stunning LED lighting strips. The area is finished with an LED mirror cabinet which is recessed into the wall to give a very sleek look.
Pale tiles and chrome fittings have been used throughout for a modern, clean look and this continues into the walk in shower enclosure. The controls for the shower are situated at the entrance so you can adjust the temperature before actually getting into the shower. It is adjacent to the large oil-filled, electric towel rail (this has negated the need for the radiator to be plumbed in) to keep the towels in easy reach. The shower enclosure has been built using a tileable wetroom tray kit so that it is fully water tight but provides a seamless look flush with the floor, and completed using the same floor tiles used for the rest of the room.
