Project

Southfield, Southwick

Everything you need, in one tidy space.

This bathroom manages to keep everything tidy and in the same theme. The wall tiles are matched to the floor  and continued over the built-in unit behind the toilet which houses the concealed cistern and provides some storage on the countertop. The hybrid shower bath tub is unusual in that it fits flush to the corner walls and so offers the space saving benefits of a shower bath, but projects at the end and so gives the luxury of a free standing bath.

The illuminated mirror cabinet not only adds storage above the wall hung basin unit and countertop basin, but also houses a shaver socket and USB socket. It also features an integrated demister which turns on with the lighting so that it doesn’t fog up.

Above the bath is an overhead shower and a separate handset with wall mounted controls on a concealed valve hidden in the wall. The stud wall to the side contains a recessed storage shelf and the bath itself utilizes an overflow filler so that there’s no spout to get in the way, and the small taps seated on the small deck next to the bath. A two fold panel, bath/shower screen tucks away tidily when not in use but lets you use the shower without soaking the floor outside of the bath.

All of the accessories have been wall hung so that everything is kept tidily out of the way, off the floor and doesn’t take up any of the counter space. Combined with the wall hung unit and the fully enclosed toilet pan, it makes for a very easy to clean bathroom. There’s even a squeegee for the shower screen mounted to the wall inside the shower!
