Park Street, Bath
This is an unusual project in that rather than a complete overhaul, the customer has opted to maintain the same layout and many of the same fixtures. Instead they have updated the room, modernising and refreshing the existing design.
A dividing wall has been bulit between the toilet and walk in shower. This of course keeps more water in the shower area. The shower itself has been updated with a new tray and new glass, with the radiator in that area being removed. The toilet pan has been retained but the whole area around this and the shower has been retiled to give it a fresh new look. The opportunity was also taken to add a more modern and stylish flush plate above the toilet.
Much like the toilet, the existing bath and basin wer retained but the floor tiles and splashback tiles have been completely replaced. Both the floorstanding bath taps and the basin taps have been replaced. This not only refreshes the look but will provide improved function.
The opposing wall has been left largely untouched, maintaining the fireplace which creates a great point of interest in the room. A new, tall ladder style radiator has been installed however, with an electric element to eliminate the need for extra plumbing.
