Cabinet Mounted Basin

Cabinet mounted basins are usually designed to be used with a specific cabinet or unit as the underside basin fits perfectly onto the specific furniture. Units can be floor standing or wall mounted. Units offer practical storage space below the basin which is normally dead space. There are normally two main material types which are ceramic and mineral resin. Ceramic are very scratch and stain resistant but the glaze can crack under impact. The mineral resin (which sometimes has varying brand names) is less scratch and stain resistant but does not have a glaze on the top surface so cracking is less common. Any light scratches and stains can usually be buffed out.

Some cabinet mounted basins can be fitted without the furniture as wall hung or semi or full pedestal depending on the options in that range (usually ceramic basins only).
